Is skydiving on your wishlist?

For a long time I wanted to jump off a normal working airplane. Don't ask me why because I still don't know. Sir Edmund Hillary, when asked why did he go on conquering the Everest, famously replied: "Because it exists!". This is the human nature, to push the limits :). You can see my adventure clicking on the link below:
My skydive jump
It was fun, it was crazy, and yes I would (I will) do it again. However, for the seniors out there who want to do the same I would give them a word of advice: if you have dentures don't open the mouth too wide when you want to yell "I'm the king/queen of the world!". Why? check the next video:
expensive skydive jump :)
Now, what can you do if you have dentures, you want to skydive, and you want to scream "Geronimo!"? One option is to leave your dentures safely home until you come back (after all, if you loose them a replacement will cost you around $1000, which will make your skydive jump very expensive). However this will make a big impact, and not necessarily a good one, on you video you'll show it to your friends. The other option is to have your denture secured in your mouth with implants. Dental implants are a modern way of improving the quality of life for denture wearers. Nobody likes dentures, and the reasons to need them are many, but you can avoid the many problems the dentures pose by having them anchored to your jaw bone with implants. This way you can have a normal social life without the fear of embarrassment if the dentures become loose. Also the discomfort of having the dentures loose in the mouth will be gone. If you, or one in your family, suffers from loose dentures discuss this your dentist. In the 21st century there is no reason why you shouldn't enjoy your life to the maximum.
Of course, if you don't have already a dentist, give us a call at (559) 683-6200, and ask Laura or Heidi how can we be of help.
Until next time all good wishes from your friendly dentist in Oakhurst
